eTMS Quick Update

This post is about my own experiences and thoughts about eTMS treatment. It should not be used as medical advice or be considered an authoritative source for medical information. It’s been a few since I’ve posted about my treatment progress. It’s still going strong and there’s definite improvement!

I’ll post more details tomorrow after I meet with the doctor overseeing my treatment, but you can get the latest meanwhile in a couple TikToks I posted.

#etms and life update. The treatments are going well and I feel better able to process complex feelings about stuff in the past (I’ll talk more about that in my blog when I get a chance to post). Unfortunately this week the derby world lost a great ref and amazing human, Jody Wilson (known by her derby friends as R2-DeckU). It’s been a minute since my last #etms update because life has been testing it out, and it’s working! Also got the results of my second EEG with good stuff that a doctor will explain to me tomorrow 😂 More details tomorrow after that conversation, mostly on my blog at https://queerderbytaco.com/tag/etms/ And of course, I’m happy to answer questions about the treatment. Tomorrow afternoon I have an appointment with the doctor overseeing my treatment, and on Thursday I have an appointment with my primary care doc to start discussing weaning off my meds after I finish treatment! It’ll be an exciting couple of days, and I’ll update here as I go.
